Made in the USA
Although it tends to increase costs, we strive to bring products to our consumers that are manufactured and sourced in the USA.
We CHOOSE to manufacture here, but before you go patting us on the back, we want our supporters to realize that manufacturing in the US actually makes a lot of BUSINESS sense, especially for small businesses.
Most critics will suggest manufacturing in China or India, but there’s a few problems with this if you’re producing in smaller quantities. Simply stated, it is not cheaper to manufacture overseas in small quantities.
The time to receive product is GREATLY increased by having to ship by boat (unless you pay extra for air freight) and is anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, not to mention the wait for customs to clear your product.
Lastly, unless you’re visiting these countries you can’t have direct control over what you’re producing, which can lead to misrepresentations of labor or materials used to produce. As you’ll read in the next section, we enjoy having suppliers within “arms reach” that we are able to drive to in a few hours or less to take care of any issues that might arise.
With all that said, it makes sense to us and we are proud to manufacture our product in the USA!
(If you’re planning on starting a new business, and would like to discuss your US manufacturing options, feel free to reach out to us.)
Ohio MADE
Similar to manufacturing in the USA, why not try to keep everything in our beloved Buckeye State?
Promoting products that are not only Made in the USA, but a majority of which (if not all) are manufactured, assembled, sourced, and packaged here in Ohio.
Whether born here, a new resident who calls Ohio “home”, or a native son or daughter who lives elsewhere but still comes home to visit, the company asks ask you…
Are You Ohio MADE?
Carrying over from this partner company, Ohio MADE, it is our goal to manufacture and source as much of the product as we can.
Plastic swarm trap, paper packaging, nuts and bolts.
Currently, almost the entire retail packaged product is based in Ohio. The plastic part and paper packaging are manufactured here in beautiful southwest Ohio. The nuts and bolts are sourced up near Lake Erie.
(If only we could find an Ohio company producing swarm lures…)
Lastly, we can’t say enough about our manufacturer, Custom Molded Products, based in Wilmington, Ohio. They continue to do right by us, both monetarily and creatively, and never discourage an idea that has potential, nor encourage ideas that aren’t thought all the way through.
If you’re thinking about a project that requires plastic injection molding, they’re a great company to talk to!
